11-string Wishbass?

I like it. Not as a serious gig-busting instrument but as an experimental beater - that's something you could do some weird things with, yet be completely reckless.

Actually, that makes me want one even more.

I don't see why everyone is getting so up-tight about it. Even though is probably plays like quicksand, I respect the man for what he does.

Also, I bet that bass would be INCREDIBLE if it was measure properly. I personally like the upper horn.
Weird though. Because I don't like basslab :eyebrow:

Ok... this proves that Mr. Wishnevsky comes to talkbass to look around... i joked about a 13 string wish in one of Jean's last "mega ERB" threads.... IT ALMOST HAPPENED HERE!!!

just look at it... he just ran out of neck & body for the 2 other strings... its got all the pickup for 2 more strings!!!

i'd still like to try it... it only cost about $900 according to the data on his site

All right That does it, Im building my own 8 string bass, Here is a list or what I need...

Lincoln logs, ....Alot of them,
A big collection of lego blocks,
Lots of Play doh,
An Erector set,
and one of those cool electonics expermentation kits from Radio shack.

Oh and the big box of crayola crayons with the built is sharpener.

All right that joke was aimed at any of you who grew up in the 70s, You young guys and gals sorry if you dont get it but in 70s as a kid if you had the above you could build anything......Some imagination required;)

lol, good stuff. its even funnier because i know a guy that built some functioning kick drum pedals out of k'nex and legos. granted, they didnt last very long, but worked nonetheless, haha.

Oh man. Wish is becoming more and more technical. That bass is for microtonal music...very advanced. I think he'll soon surpass all the knowledge on this forum:p :rollno:

Maybe he'll eventually spread the knowledge to the grumps on the DB side!

Oh I can only IMAGINE what they would do to him if he built an upright.

So... I'm getting why you guys are poking fun at the bass, but why be so personal? Why? The guy isn't selling anything other than what he is advertising. If you don't like it, don't buy it. How many of you have played a Wishbass after a good setup and 3 weeks to "get the feel" for it?

I actually talked to the guy for a 30 min. call 6-8 months ago... a nice fellow. But didn't sell me a bass. I've read a few great reviews also.
