+1 that a single NV115 is not going to be a very good stand-alone cab. If you dig the tone of the NV115, and just need a bit more low end and more volume, absolutely get a second NV115. That will be KILLER with your head.

Given the sealed design of the NV115, and the low sensitivity, it would IMO not pair very well with most other cabs. So, your other choice IMO is to sell the NV115 and get an HD410, which would be massively louder than a single NV115, but still give you the midrange push and controlled low end that would work quite well with that amp.

Just so this thread doesn't go even more down the chute, the NV115 is again quite a unique cab (this is the cab he has, not a 410). While some 115/410 combinations can sound pretty darn good, this would NOT, in ANY way be the case with the low sensitivity sealed NV115 IMO and IME. I too found that it is not a particularly good single cab solution, even for moderate volume gigs. Two of them should kill if the OP has the cash.

Kind of a different topic on this one.

On a more specific note: Tom Bowlus tried a pair of NV115s with his Reeves 225 and gave the combination a brief but very enthusiastic review not too long ago. I think it's in the Reeves amp thread.

I love how some folks like to bring up famous players stage rigs as examples of proper bass rigs. No big act ever uses a stage rig for house sound, and hardly any even use them as stage monitors. They are props, and advertisements, and amp makers main goal is sales- pure and simple. Lets not get our panties in a bunch over these discussions. We're all free to play what we like, but if there's a "better way", lets be open to that possibility.

Is there a way you can try out the orange cab before you shell out the money for it? Try it out with your whole rig to see what your own ears tell you. It may be just what you're looking for. Personally, I'd grab an identical 1x15.
As for Flea, there is always a good chance that he IS a member here, but chooses to remain anonymous. Wouldn't blame him for that in the least. He also plays piano very well. If he is reading this, or someone here knows him, please pass along my thanks and respect for his work.

FWIW, on the "mix and match a 4x10 and 1x15" thing, IME/IMHO, most of the time, it's a step backwards. I've heard a few combinations which sounded pretty good, though (Trace Elliot and Orange come to mind). But in addition to the mis-matched driver configuration issue, in this case, you are probably also talking about mixing and matching sealed and ported cabs (unless the 4x10 is sealed), which I think creates other problems and might make this cab combo very difficult to dial in.

I say, go with two NV115's OR a nice 4x10 (or two), like the HD410.
