If you play with PA support try putting the one cab up on a stand or tipping it back and.get guitar players to do same. Personal volume needs shrink dramatically when cabs are aimed at their owners' heads.

+1, would sound great. I thought the general consensus was that Orange bass cabs were mediocre in terms of design and slightly ugly. The only cab I would pair with a NV115 is a second NV115.
You need a fearful, a tort pickguard, and a $1000 power cable to make the whole unit run. That's the only way to make sure to blow up your cab by underpowering it.
How come Flea from RHCP was running 4 410/115 GK setups on stage if it is such a no no?
awesome, right down to the un-hooked up head on top of the two fake cabs hiding the rather pedestrian fender hot rod deville combos.Link Removed
I got so fed up hearing about Tort pickguards here on TB.
Guess what? Tried it.
It sounds so good I sold my $1000 power cable, my Fridge and P-bass. I don't even use IEs.
Thankyou Talkbass.
My load in is so easy.
I just show up, Tort pickguard under my arm.

Because people decide to be complete jerks (which they will) you should do a quick search for "mixing cabs" or "mixing drivers"
Grab a beer and do some reading bro, save yourself the harassment![]()
It would be very helpful if someone would post a link to a few of the better "mixing cab" or "mixing speakers" threads. A search brings up so much that its hard to find any quality.
I can't believe he's not designing his own amps what with all his technical expertise.
He's only playing along to the CD anyway. His bass is actually plugged into a deep fryer.
