we all do dumb things, spending untold hours building "instruments" that won't work doesn't have to be one of them.
If it doesn't work out as he may have planned,maybe he'll learn from his mistakes(if he makes any).
Hmmmmmm, methinks he should have started out smaller and worked his way up to something of this magnitude.

I almost went with a 7 a couple of months ago (bought a new Ken Smith 6 instead).
Do you know what the odd thing was that kept me from the 7????.....the feel of the high, plain string on my right hand callouses. I've never heard anybody complain of this so it must be just me. That plain string would kind of "catch underneath" my callous though.
I had the KS 7 and 6 side by side.....visited the shop three days in a row....came home with the 6.
And oooops....I'm sorry...didn't mean to take this OT.
So, at which point do we get to start calling them harps?
