$14 P Bass Copy

Shucks everyone, I posted this for comic relief mostly. I already have 13 basses, most of which are Squiers . . . At the entry level bass category I am all set.

Trying to make any new acquisitions at another level - Rickenbacker, vintage Hofner, etc . . .

I hear ya -- not sure I'd ever get around to using a $14 bass once I got it home and it found its way to the back of the line...

On the other hand, I have an acoustic six-string beater I bought in a London charity shop in the 1990's for ten pounds, and I've played and composed on that thing as much as any axe....

As knife and gun enthusiasts say, the functional weapon at hand beats the superior weapon at home in the safe.... And likewise one often grabs the bedside beater rather than dig through case candy...

Presumably you were standing right in front of it to take the picture? Why couldn't someone buy it before 7/22? Hand them the $ and take it.
I zoomed in on the picture the OP posted. When guitar center buys a bass it goes on police hold for about a month to ensure it's not stollen. Someone can buy it but they have to wait till 7/22 before they can take it home.
