I'll definitely let you all know my experience with the sound, how I like the iem's, and how they compare to my DT770 over the ear headphones. These will be my first set of in ears, but I'm sure I will be able to provide a bit of helpful insight.

I'm willing to bet $2 that today you get good news after lunch. Was in buffing the entire last week. Really? 5 days to polish/buff. I'm hoping monday I get a "buffing complete" shortly followed with a "shipped" update. Fingers crossed.

Maybe an asterisk because of President's Day??
Still like them. I've been wearing them to practice at home all week and the fit is just dialed. Played 2hrs straight over the weekend with truly zero feeling/discomfort. You know their in there, but it's not like ear buds that are trying to expand on the canals. The big thing is getting the mix/levels set up, but then they are just really good.
Been trying to wear them a lot to get used to them, but also demo across music types and hear the sound variation. I do not find them heavy on the bass like the "bass boost" type phones. I'm actually curious what the V6S and V8's sound like based on that, but I can't say I would change. It may be if I tried a V3 or V2, I would notice the bass missing.
Just ordered a small Yamaha MX06 mixer and a splitter to get my personal mix setup dialed in for playing out. Looking forward to it.
I have the Westone custom plugs for weekly practice, and woooh, Nellie, do they help! Small room, 12 people, mostly guitarists and I have to literally stand next to the PA speaker that is on a 5ft pole (I'm 6'4".....I wear custom molded attenuated ear plugs at work and while playing. I've grown accustomed to the way fitted plugs feel so I shouldn't have any issues with the getting used to the way customs feel. I have a Cafe Walter HA1A I might use with the Quads should I decide to use them outside of church. We use avioms at church, so getting a custom mix isn't an issue.
). What's a small bummer is having to pull one out every song to talk about what we did/need to change, so I keep a small bottle of baby oil in my bag to help keep the ear lubed up. Kind of sad now that I write that!I have the Westone custom plugs for weekly practice, and woooh, Nellie, do they help! That's all of last week buffing, in addition to the 2.5 days this week. I broke down and and called 1964. I spoke with Alex and he informed me he had no explanation for the delay. He said they should be able to finish the buffing today and get them shipped today, if not tomorrow.
Now just waiting on the FedEx tracking info. Hopefully that doesn't take 10 days like buffing did. I have church band rehearsal on Wed (then service on that Sunday). Im hoping to have these in hand to use for that rehearsal and proceeding service.
