after this thread, i'm not sure anymorei have an old blue line svt head and have the 6146 power amp tubes i heard that they made them for the first 6 months in 1969 is this true?
actually, according to the ampeg book, the 6146's were dropped in 71.

that's what doug ingle used my head with...an ampeg 412.I should try my SVT with a sweet 412 cab next time haha. glad you guys brought this up!!!

Fortunately, the tube relay on mine lets people know that mine is a true 69. Ones without it are a little suspect![]()
i pick this thing up for 800 dollars needs work i just found the original knobs. it has the 6146 power tubes in it. it is a bare chassis
