1971 Vintage Fender Precision

I suspect there is another person in this scenario trying to force them to sell it. It seems they’re trying to please grandma and probably a significant other. Maybe the mom of the toddlers running around in the background of the photos.

This is really not that uncommon, especially in the motorcycle world. Your spouse insists you sell the bike, so you list it for a ridiculous price. Gee, don’t know why it hasn’t sold yet. Guess I’ll keep riding it until it does.
This might be why I"m not married.

I messaged the seller yesterday and asked if the price might be a mistake.

I suspect grandpa and his bass might be getting thrown under that bus; might just be a cover in case his wife finds out.

You should ask them if their conscience is included with the bass and does the conscience have a volume control pot to turn it off.
