I wonder if I heard one now, what I would think of it?I had a Peavey Combo 300. Pretty great, pretty heavy. Yup.
....
I threw mine down a flight of hotel stairs trying to kill it as I was tired of carrying. It did not die, and I gave it away on CL.
How bad did it mess up the hotel stairs?

It's what I had back in the 80's also. Bought it in '83 while in high school and gigged it for about 5 years through college and a year or so after playing out once a week. It thought it was good at the time, but I bought an SWR SM400 and Hartke cabinets in the early 90's and remember it was a huge improvement. The TNT was heavy but the worst part was the plastic strap style handle on the top which was all but useless. A set of recessed handles on the side would have gone a long way to more positive memories of that combo!
