I don't think there is and "Collector value" in an original color resprsay. Sand it and start over. That said, creamy goodness is a nice color for a Ray. You know every time a Ray is bought an angel gets its wings. So under all that Krylon or Crayola or whatever, there's a tiger. Or pick a color you love. It wants to look as awesome as it sounds.

They both do

Silver : lacquer glows green under black light, and the dark purple reflecting off of the flake looks awesome .

I was always told repainting changes the tone, but it has been repainted, so go nuts man. I mean not "holy crap this is unsellable" weird, but go for it. Do you have any of that color changing paint sitting around? Never seen that on a bass (although I'm sure it's been done).

AFAIK, the Bongo is a photoshop, whereas the Stingkittys are real. Mine (the plaid one) is a BEAD.
