I just switched from a full circle to a contact type mic

What is this "contact type mic" you're using and how are you finding it?

check out the review of toby timbers Vektor in Amps. It is a great pick up (although it must be cut into the bridge. I have both the full circle and Vektor on right now and I am evaluating the Vektor still. It may make a great blend.

I've been watching this thread as I'm wanting a better DB rig(like all real bass players)- where can I find Patterson cabs?

Ralf Patterson, (a TBer, rpatter) designs the crossovers for LDS, and Don builds Ralf's cabs for him, so there is really a fine line between an "LDS" cab and a "Patterson" cab. That said, you can buy Patterson cabs at Low Down Sound, or probably through Ralf directly.

That's what I thought, but I didn't see anything on the website reatterson cabs- I assume you email or call w/your request.
