2 Notes Opus

Thanks for your detailed explanation, but that is a bit beside the point I'm afraid. I do know how to use the unit extensively, I have been using wall of sound and Genome for years.

My questions were more specific than that: whether there are build-in defaults for cab+mic pairings, and preamp+power amp pairings, to be able to have a more consistent / faster workflow when switching between cabs or preamp sims.

@Ross Davies I do understand the reasoning you present as to why these types of defaults do no exist and it makes sense. Still, it wouldn't hurt to , for exmaple, have the option to store "user default mic" for each cab (or persist the last mike config used per cab instead of globally), at least for me it would make for a better UX so I don't have to have to recall and manually repeat the same setting all over again if I have a particular pairing preference for a certain cab.
I don't think the Opus has much, if any, spare bandwidth with regard to adding options to the existing software, at least in the way you are looking for.

I've found that after getting more familiar with the Cab Sims that I like, it doesn't take that long to decide which mic(s) I want to use with which Cab Sims.

When creating a new Preset, I generally take one of the guitar-centric Presets, change it into whatever I want, and then save it under a name that lets me know how I configured it section-wise.
