200 Watt SVT? How to do it?

The only thing that's preventing me from grabbing a AD200B is the fact that the tube sockets are soldered into the PCB. Especially since I like to drive my output tubes to grilled-cheese-cooking temperatures. If I played bass like a regular person, then I could probably be OK with the Orange.

an Electric Amp might be for you then... I get the feeling it's not the exact same amp, but it should be tonally similar. Pretty sure those are all handwired, made the right way, etc etc. The fact that you choose the output volume by picking the power tubes should help it hit your volume-to-grind sweetspot pretty easily.

So from what I hear if I have a 100watter with 4 power tubes and I pull out two the selectable
Impedence which were 4-8-16ohms are now 8-16-32ohms
And if I have a 300 watter with6 power tubes than that means if I have impedences that are selectable as 2-4ohms than when I remove 1/3 of the tubes instead of 1/2 then my impedences go from2-4 to 3-6 which means I keep using my 4ohm cab I just set the switch to 2 (actually 3)
My older SVT didn't have a switch but this MTI SVT does!!
I will go and read that info from before first and if I think I shouldn't do
It I'm going to sell
My g&l for another v4

So after having two of our band members out on tour for a month we had the LOUDEST practice ever (probably due to the fact the other band uses about a dozen Sunns) so my problem is solved for now.

Double dirt
V4 no b
In this situation an ultra low could have really done the Dew

I have a peavey 412txf and a 412tvx a v4 and svt
Now with the New Edition of another v4 (yay sensitivity switch=dirtydirty)I'm either
Going with a head for the PV and another for the V4
Or if I'm mistaken and I find out the v4 cab is not for me
I'm going to rewire one of the PVs divide the 12s into top and bottom.
I already rip out the crossover and disable the tweeter and use the former home of the tweeter level potentiometer as a parallel input jack.
It's dumb I had a discussion with a friend where we were on the fence about getting rid of our v4 cabs but we both realized if we had just one we might sell it but we would both agree that if we had a pair we'd keep it just to BLAST.
Weird GAS logic

Love the V4 midrange rocker. Same as the V9. Boost that 300K for square waves.

AbsoLUTEly keep both V4 cabs. That's an 8x12! Like an 8x10 on HGH.
