Headstock repair might drop that a little but a decent headstock repair isn't that bad because a large percentage of old Gibson's have them. But as a Gibson owner I am sure you are very familiar with all of that.

Great looking bass BTW. I love those old Thunderbird II's.

I mentioned in the first post that the prices are a bit on the high side for this economy. It doesn't mean that this isn't their value but it does mean they wouldn't sell for that price right now. I have found the older stuff to be on the high end and the newer stuff to be on the low end. I think high vintage prices are pushing up the price on the newer more affordable stuff.

That said the bass prices seem to be closer to reality than the guitar prices which seem very high. Also it should be noted these prices are for very clean examples. The low range is for instruments with some wear but all prices are assuming the instrument is in pretty great shape. Anything past that would affect the value.
