2014-2015 NHL Regular Season Thread

Why does Marchand or Lucic always want to start something with a player from every team? It only makes THEM look bad and as if the league and tis fans don't hate them enough....
That is their games - Marchand is the irritating pest. Lucic is the big power forward with skills and attitude. Subban is similar in montreal, in hoops, think kurt rambis or bill lambeer - guys that you love to hate when they are on the other team, but you love them when they are on your team. For the record, the B's haven't been subject to any nhl additional discipline so far this year, so they are playing heavy and tough but not dirty.

Dude, I know you are a B's fan but seriously, just say that Lucic and Marchand suck. Cause they do.

Agreed. Scumbags of the NHL. Throw in Cooke and you got a trio of NHL's Most Hated Players.

Boston just went 0-3 in California. Lulz.

Boston went 0-2-1 last year in California, it is a tough trip, fortunately they picked up 2 points in Phoenix.
Can't admit that they suck, because they don't. That they get under the skin of players and fans of other teams is a positive thing to me. I can't imagine that there are many teams that don't have a similar player or two.

Did you have to throw Cooke into the mix with Lucic and Marchand? That hurts, Cooke ended the career of a Bruin, Marc Savard - Cooke was more of a goon than an instigator.

Jazzy - Lucic is from BC - why no love for the hometown hero? Didn't he bring the Cup back to BC a few years ago? ;)

Lucic knew how much his own hometown hated him so he had his own Cup parade done privately. The desecration of his grandparents' church is definitely a no for me.....we should have supported him regardless of him beating the Canucks but as you know, Nucks fans are some of the worst in the NHL.

And I'm not sorry about Cooke. He deserves to be on that list. He was very close to ending Tyson Barrie's career last playoffs and he showed no remorse for it. I hate that guy

Pens/Rangers tonight... total toss up. I'm hoping for the W (sure would be nice, especially looking at the top of the conference), but with the way they always play us and how it's gone this season against them, I'm expecting a loss. Hopefully not a blowout, but a tight game.

Toronto is on quite the streak after that 9-2 loss to Nashville a couple weeks ago. The NHLN said they are 11-0 this season when they score first. Nice.

Brygalov is back at home where his NHL career started.

The Wild pulled off quite the comeback last night. Down 3-0 and winning 5-4, not bad. They do need to work on their retaliation fighting and send a bigger guy to do the deed, but a good effort. We have to figure out our 1st period struggles. Even having trouble coming out with energy at home - and energy is part of the name!
