I'd be bitter, too. You play your entire, historic career with one team and in your last year they trade you? Screw them. I've always disliked NJ and this is another reason.

I'd be bitter, too. You play your entire, historic career with one team and in your last year they trade you? Screw them. I've always disliked NJ and this is another reason.
Very little talk about the team that is tied for the lead in the Eastern Conference, THE DETROIT RED WINGS. Ken Holland has done an amazing job rebuilding on the fly with this team. And healthy, they can play with anyone. Tatar, and Nyquist may be two of the best young stars in the game.
Another night, another win. It may have been ugly, but we still got the two points. I will say that we really NEED to fix the back-up goalie slot long term. Hutton was a bandaid, and he's a rollercoaster of a bandaid.
Forsberg is back on top of rookie categories again after sharing them for a little while (or at least he was when our game wrapped up).

The Flames looked as good as I've seen them Tues. night vs. Sabres especially in the 3rd. They're playing well after the all star break - not unusual for them the last few years - what's unusual this year is they're in a position where they can make a spot this year if they keep it up. Oh, happy day......
The Pens continue to circle the drain. No goals against Washington last night? I realize Holtby isn't a chump, but come on already, score a friggin' goal. I'm sure the Pens GM will make some odd moves as the deadline approaches. He seems to me to like making moves just to make them.

That reminds me of the Leaf's GM vs. a potato article that went out either this summer or last summer during FA/NHL draft. I'll have to find it.

Well, the Wild have 4 points so far in their swing through Canada. 2 more points on Sunday would be great. Dubnyk looked pretty good last night. Parise scored the games only goal =, but good goaltending won the game for them - especially in the last 90 seconds.
We lost a game with plenty of bad bounces for both teams. Should've pulled it off, but with Hutton in net, we were doomed as soon as it went to OT. It was a pretty good game to watch. Physical, tons of offense, and goalies making huge saves to keep both teams in it. The one positive is that we shut down the fabled St. Louis PP, and they had a TON of chances.
On a side note, does St. Louis use regulation pucks? It seemed like they replaced it with a bouncey ball last night.

Don't think Kessel, unless they get a boatload back. Maybe Phaneuf, Lupul or Franson. Don't think Gardiner is safe either.
