2015 Effects GAS...post now, be embarrassed later

Pedals I will most likely purchase in 2015 (Primary Intended Use In Brackets)

#1 Pigtronix Infinity Looper (Looper)

#2 Sonuus Voluum (Compression, Autoswell and Tremolo)

#3 EHX 8 Step Sequencer (LFO Generator for Talking Machine or harmony sequencer for Ring Thing. Note I may get two)

These will be added to what I currently have
EHX Ring Thing (Pitchshifter)
EHX Talking Machine (Filter)
EHX Ravish Sitar (Synth and additional Pitchshifter)
Pigtronix Disnortion (Distortion)
Pigtronix Echolution 2 Deluxe (Modulation and Delay)
Visual Sound Volume Pedal (Volume)

As you can probably see I should have almost every effect type covered and with the inclusion of the preset capabilities I will have a extreme number of effect combinations available via footswitching. Combine all those sounds with a looper and I should be able to compose and perform some reasonably full and interesting music.

Well, I'll probably keep having GAS for the EHX B9 & C9 pedals--and probably won't get one, unless I find one used or win one.
Other than that the main pedals I'm looking at are a octave and/or harmonizer and a reverb pedal--the latter more for guitar than bass, the former for both.

More likely than either is hopefully a pedal board--finally.

Not sure about "on the planet", but certainly hands down the worst of the handful of bass wahs I've tried, I returned it the same day. There are probably many guitar wahs that sound worse though.

True. I tend to prefer how analogue pedals sound and have not yet had a chance to hear this one.

I'm a cheater, I've used all-in-one solutions for a while(most recently a Line 6 bass floor pod, and now a Fender Bronco 40)... BUT, I am Gassin' for a BeatBuddy.

Since I tend to prefer analog sound too, may I ask if you use a delay and which? Although I am an analog-man, I think I prefer the delay to be digital.

I don't mind how it's done, but in some cases I think it matters in practice; digital pitch shifters and octavers tend to have a latency I don't like, and I agree digital delays can work better with bass when you don't want too much mud in the sound.

I am not using a delay at the moment but find the fairfieldcircuitry meet maude quite a tempting one.

It is digital. I haven't seen a analog pedal that doesn't terrible for bass pitch shifting yet, but to be fair, most pitch shifters sound kind of crappy on bass. The Digitech drop sounds better (for this specific function) than the eventide pitchfactor, the morpheus divebomb, earthquaker devices pitchbay, and the boss ps6.

I'm looking at different distortion and fuzz pedals. I need a little extra grind when we play grungy/rock stuff. The compression on my BG250 is nice, but I don't like its overdrive much. It doesn't really give it much edge. I think the octave toneprint gives me more oomph than the OD does.

I really just want the wah as a "for fun" pedal.
