2015 Effects GAS...post now, be embarrassed later

Sounds like fun.

H9max is number one on the list.
Then I'll have to play around with MIDI / expression pedals for it.
Beyond that, it mostly depends on which pedals I can shelve when I get the H9.

My needs are few. EXPENSIVE, but few...

+1

As fond, and as proud, as I am to be a "breeder", I'm really finding that my board is just too big. I really need to get down to a smaller board, which means losing some of my beloved pedals :(. I'm thinking 2 H9s(Max/Core) and the Future Impact(although I really don't need one of these, I have a GR-55).

I've been toying with the idea of getting a Roland V-Bass or VB-99 (and the necessary GK-3B instrument add on). Mainly because it would, *IN THEORY*, give me a perfect 62 or 75 Precision, or a 72 Jazz, or a Musicman, or a Thunderbird, or a... you get the idea.

Feel free to tell me why this is a bad idea. In fact, PLEASE tell me this is a bad idea, because it's expensive. Also, given Roland seems to no longer make the synth modules, maybe they are throwing me a big hint.

They're still making the GR-55...;)

I've got 2 GK-3B's, but I'm probably just going to mount one right now...

I'm toying, maybe, with the idea of changing out my BDDI with a B7K...I do love the BDDI for what I do and I'll never sell it...buuuuut the B7K is like a drop in replacement on my board layout and I sometimes miss my B3K so...maybe.

I just got a Strymon box too and it's a freaking joy to use.

Since the day i sold my B:Assmaster (boobies) i regretted it. Mentioned it in casual conversation to my gf a couple years ago. Well Santa gave me this! Its brand new in the box. Instructions AND teeth! Whats the deal with the teeth anyways?...lol
Took off the back plate and was pretty surprised on what number she is!...

Well, I've got two more bits of GAS that snuck up on me. Neither are actual pedals. The first is a Mooer Micro power supply. The second is a MIPUC. The biggest problem is that between my existing Mondo power supply and my MIDI Solutions boxes, I'm low on space UNDER my board, which is where these would go.

I need a reverb that does trails. I'd love to get a Strymon Blue Sky, but I don't think I have the jam for one. Most of my expendable income is going to a trip abroad with the family and what little is left is going to pick-up install and set-up on my Mustang and motorcycle maintenance.

Well, I won a One Control Bass Green Machine from MrExcane ;) AFter that I have an incoming
Rams Head Muff built by the giglawyer here on TB
ModTone Funk Filter
Jele Telex (I am so dyslexic with that darn fuzzes name!!)
DG Harmonic Booster!!! ;)
I also plan on getting a Radial JDX for sure eventually.

I know I have something else coming Im forgetting about.......hhmmmmm

I think I wrote in last year's thread I was going to spend $200 plus the Vintage Microtubes Deluxe if it came out. I have yet to grab the VMT Deluxe, and I've spent just a liiitttle bit more than $200. Oh well.

Really only currently GAS'ing for a Catalinbread WIIO unless Duke decides to sell the johnK RAH again.

I'd like 2015 to be a year of building my own stuff. Starting with small projects and kits and hope to move up to actually being able to follow a schematic to populate a pre-printed board (for the Klone kit from mammoth/GuitarPCB I can't seem to figure out yet with my limited skilz).

OK ... just a few days in and GAS changes from Nothing to a couple of things ... the MXR Bass Preamp would be a great replacement for the SABDDI on my new board, I need the space to be able to fit a power supply. And, I bet I'll be very tempted by the new Source Audio delay pedal, luckily that is a couple of months away.
