My 2015 GAS keeps getting delayed by items not actually being released.
Livid Guitar Wing - ordered on Reverb, may need to cancel and order elsewhere
Source Audio Reflex - will order as soon as it is available
Panda Audio Future Impact - if it happens
Eventide H9 Max - GAS pains getting a lot worse, price makes it difficult to justify, maybe sometime late in 2015 or early 2016
Source Audio Nemesis - on my radar, but it's kind of in a death match with the H9 as far as my future plans go
Boss SY-300 - making me rethink the Future Impact, similar to the H9 Max in terms of GAS/price
MXR ISO-Brick - I don't want to spend that much more money on something that is just for utility and doesn't actually make sounds, but I really need to clean up my power and wiring; not released yet, need to hear if it passes muster for quality isolation
About 1 billion fuzzes - Darkglass Duality, Iron Ether Oxide, and more...

I think my answer will be 'nothing' - not due to effect hatred but because I've got what I want and mostly don't use those.
(A B7K or VMTDLE is always in the loop to drive the rack tuner and recording interface via DI.)
But I can't resist thinking about the B9 and C9...
Considered them inappropriate for fretless 'cause I just don't trust my chording yet.
But after 2 years of fretless exclusive, I'm about to have a fretted big-sister inbound, with an additional higher-pitch string so I shouldn't worry about low-string tracking.
Before I dare head down that path, I'll probably need to pick up a Mono dual case.
And an A/B switch so I can flip between the EBG and EUB...

I was VERY interested in the SY-300 but, again, price... Oh, and then there is the FutureImpact.

I was just saying yesterday how @Adamixoye and I have the same wants and needs from pedals. I have a few things on his GAS list. He has a few things from my GAS list. Heck, @kurotenshi you have a few things from my GAS list too. Each of us started up different sides of the mountain hoping to reach the same peak. At least that is how I see it.
Reflex will be mine, but probably not until 3-6 months after its release date.
Nemesis seems amazing, but I'll wait for an official feature set to see if it is for me.
Solemate seems so promising, but I'm still considering other options for controllers.
SY-300 had my interest, but lost it quickly based on its price. The size and tones didn't help it redeem itself. An amazing bass-demo might change my mind, but I don't see it being for me.
Panda Future Impact could be the greatest pedal of the year/next year, or let down of the year/next. It has some legitimate and illegitimate hype already, and I want it to be great. I am forcing myself to be emotionally cautious to not invest too much hope in a pedal that will either a) never exist, or b) fall short of expectations. I'm hoping for option c) greatest pedal ever.
Let's just say there is significant overlap between the bottom of guitar and the top of a fretted 7-string bass tuned B-F...
The challenge in my mind will be how to keep that chordal thing going on top while maintaining bassline groove on the bottom.
If it were just for keyboard backing tracks or recording, I'd just use a keyboard or MIDI something...
So there's a whole new skillset in need of development to keep it from being just a gimmick...
This post is from 12/11/2014. I still want everything SA is going to release. I still want the Panda Future Impact. I lost interest in the Digitech Bass Whammy because of size, power, and the H9 & M9 covering all of my pitch needs. Cioks still seems nice, but I'm looking at smaller combinations of power supplies for my needs. Cables are a 2016 project. I have enough George L connectors that I can just cut some new lengths to suit my needs.
I have kept my effects spending under 1K. I am a musician. I am not starving. I'm OK with this.
Could you share the options you have on the table?
I'm kind of split between 3 approaches: 1-4 to 6 buttons MIDI only controller with at least 3 PC messages 2-Simple 2 button controller and use iPAD as MIDI brain and screen 3-MIDI + looper
For the first option I was considering waiting for the SoleMate or going with a Disaster Area
For third option I was looking into the SwitchDr or MusicomLAB 6M or some G-LAB

You just mentioned the options I was considering, plus others.
I own a Midi Moose. It is fine. It works great with the SA HUB alone, but I want something with more flexibility with my other devices.
I own an H9. It is amazing, but not an amazing midi controller. If I had a tight, non-improvised set I could easily just use this, but I need to change tones depending on the the mood. I need more flexibility.
Disaster Area seems to have the right idea with all of their controllers, but I'm still not sure any of them will do everything I want them to do. I need to finalize my set up a bit and ask more questions. I really don't know at this point.
I don't own an Ipad, but I would love to use a tablet based control system for all of my pedals. This set up is still probably 2+ years in the future for me financially, but I'd like to at least have my ducks in a row.
I got tired of any gear quickly, never spend over $30 per item, so am never embarassed. Get into software if you don't want to spend!

I've posted about this elsewhere, but I'm going with an unconventional solution...no footswitches at all.
First off, I did go with the iPad solution. Originally, I was using my cheaper personal Android tablet and MIDI Commander. But then I got an iPad through my work that I have great flexibility to use personally as long as I take care of it, and I started using MIDI Designer which is basically a billion times better. I use the iPad over WiFi with a Zivix PUC mounted underneath my board. This setup gives me pretty much full control over EVERYTHING MIDI related in my setup. It's incredible.
Except that it's hard to use the iPad for mid-song changes. I really like my board as-is and didn't want to devote additional board space to this. So I have decided to go with the Guitar Wing, which is on order (having some Reverb issues). I sort of figure that I can tap a button on the guitar with about as much efficiency as I could hit a footswitch, plus using Guitar Wing (via Bluetooth) into MIDI Designer gives me incredible flexibility (in theory, obviously, waiting to test it!), plus the Guitar Wing does all sorts of other cool stuff (additional expression control via touchpad or motion sensor, etc.). This is not a cheap solution by any stretch, but in my case, since the iPad was already provided for me, it's not too bad. PUC/Guitar Wing/MIDI Designer would run you about $325 new, but I have received various discounts off of that and I'll wind up more in the $260 range. So if you already have an iPad, it's cheaper than most of the DMC stuff and probably closer to whatever the Solemate ends up costing.

Although I think some of my mid song changes are impossible to do without a pedal, your solution has one BIG advantage over any other, since I already have a wireless for the bass, having MIDI control away from the board would be nice to.
I have already tested the iPad+MIDI designer solution using the Line6 MIDI Mobilizer and it is amazing, with just one switch I could run by my hole set flawlessly.

I am torn about it for the reasons you stated, but I'm going to see how this works. Something tiny like the DMC-3XL would be a possibility. However, that poses a routing problem, because I can't run that into the iPad/MIDI Designer without going back to something wired, at least not that I can see right now.
One advantage of the Guitar Wing for my setup is that right now I am not using any sort of looper, so going between clean w/ modulated and dirty w/ no modulation can't be accomplished with just one stomp. A simultaneous stomp and hit to the Guitar Wing would be just the ticket if I can put it off. Still not as convenient as a single stomp, obviously.
