This is what you call a beach.

Lets see...one of the first things on the 2015 calendar is getting a colonoscopy. Yep...I am really looking forward to that experience.:rollno:

I had one done earlier this year. It was no big deal. Downing all the crap they want you to drink to flush your system is actually the annoying part.

The docs have heard just about every ass joke there is in that profession, but as I was about to nod off from the drugs, I told mine:

"I have visions of Star Trek, as you are about to boldly go where no man has ever gone before!"

The nurse chuckled at that one.

If it's resolutions we're talking about the musical ones will be to finish projects left unfinished, write new music, and learn to read music. The last one is unlikely to happen, but would be handy given how inspiration strikes me.

Yah...I heard that. But the night before sounds like no picnic sitting on the toilet for hours. just sayin.

Okay, here's the deal. They are basically giving you a fancy saltwater solution to "clear the pipes" so to speak. In the "end" the idea is that you want to be "running clear" which does not mean what comes out can't be colored a bit, but should have no solids whatsoever. One way to cut down on how much of this stuff you have to go through is just eat way way less the day before you start the process. Or if you are good at fasting go for it. Because once you are "running clear" you don;t need to keep downing that crap.

The other thing to keep in mind is the doc can prescribe you either expensive or cheap stuff, and they both do the same thing. So tell the doc you want the cheap stuff to drink.
