2019 Gear Purchase Plans

I think I only have two major purchases planned for 2019. A Fender Precision from the Mod Shop and a Mesa WD800. I've always wanted a walnut or mocha brown P bass. I almost stole one from college - inadvertently. I was in Jazz band and they had an unplayable P bass in the music room. I borrowed it at the end of one year planning to get it back into playability, but it went into the storage space in my apartment and out of mind. Got a phone call at the end of the year - "bring the bass back". Oops. But it was honest. I guess the morality question would be if they hadn't called and I was moving out of the apartment, discovered it, would I have taken it back? Anyways, I still want a brown P bass and yeah, I realize that Mod Shop is a bit of a ripoff.

Plan? Well, I didn't plan on buying 19 basses in 2018.
Hopefully I'll be able to keep the G.A.S. at bay in 2019, but I'm already looking at a few that have caught my eye. Being a member of TB sure doesn't help!

Hmmm plans...I have some somewhere, but I usually lose them...

Post my winter bass build-off entry and finish it, bonus if before the final day...I've been procrastinating.

Odds are I'll probably buy some other basses, been looking at a bass vi for a while too.

DiCosimo 360+, I need a DI and I'll probably never have the room for the real thing, why not get it in a box...

DOD rubberneck, along with many other pedals but that doesn't count...

Bass-wise:

Any 1 or 2 of these 3 that I’ve been thinking about for a while now are possible, though somewhat unlikely:
- Mustang PJ
- Short scale (or medium scale) fretless of some sort — perhaps combined with my Mustang want via a conversion
- Thunderbird Vintage Pro (sunburst finish)
I’ve already got more than enough basses though (5 electrics, 2 acoustics), so, like the last almost two years now, I may well get a big fat none of ‘em. We’ll see

Much more important than buying is to sell an extra Jazz i have hanging around that I’ve been meaning to sell for about 2 years now!

Also to Sell: an Aguilar ToneHammer pedal that I will never use

Likely: Upgrades on my SG bass and Am Stnd P (principally, pickups, but i have a few other parts and/or mods in mind too, for both). Basically, try and make those two basses keepers, and if not, then probably sell them in 2020. Hopefully my planned upgrades/mods work out though...
