215 Cabinet's. I have seen the light!

What I am sure of is that there's something about the right 15s (& a well-constructed box around it/them)

This terribly first-gen iPhone photographed Mesa/Boogie 2x15" has been my only cabinet since about 2000, I believe. Had used an SWR 2x10 + 1x15" with a GK400rb before that which was an ok rig but never completely won me over. As many have already said, "there's just something about 15s."
The Mesa is pretty clear and detailed to my ears. I tend to play a lot of "open chord" D/G string type stuff (think Peter Hook), and the 15s seem to keep the right amount of low end going while I pretend I'm the guitar player.
That said, I'm lusting for an Orange 4x10 to pair up with my Terror Bass just to mix things up / make proper use of the dual outputs on the Rics. It never truly ends.

Yep. I dreamed about having this setup shortly after I started playing at age 14. It still blows my mind sometimes that I actually HAVE it.
The amp needs a bit of servicing that I probably can't quite afford/justify at the moment, but hey, it's nice to pine after something I already own for a change!

Hard to see in this photo (best I have), but I was rockin 215's when I was a wee lad in 1981...it did sound good...not so good for the back.
