2x112-rigs? Show me yours!

Is that one of the new '58 P's? Beautiful! I lucked out on getting a 62 Jazz AVR at a ridiculous price when MF was blowing them out. What model is the white P if you don't mind me asking?
Take Care,
Brent

The one on the left is a 2011 Fender Custom Shop Precision '59 Reissue, purchased used from a fellow TB'er last year. It's a thing of beauty.

The one on the right is a 2011 Fender Precision American Deluxe. I generally play it in passive mode, and I like having the bridge pickup to dial in a bit of J-bass-like grit. I generally have the balance set to 80% neck pickup.

I'm sure I've posted this before but just can't get over how good this rig is. I just recently picked up a pair of Scout 112 cabs and they sit a lot higher when stacked and have a warmer tone then the PH cabs. Not sure they cab put out the same kind of volume though.

My 4U & 2 X 112 rig with gratuitous Rickenbacker 4003 LH Jetglo:
Gotham cable, Neutrik connectors, Demeter VTBP-201, Klark Teknik DN405 Parametric EQ, Carver PM300. Went through a host of parametric EQs and the KT's are the biz. Front end and POwer amp have remained the same for donkey's years.

My own 1 X 12s, sporting Eminence 3012LF, Alphalite 6, and Audax Horn tweeter PR125T. Passive Crossover for convenience is mine, fixed at 500/3.5Khz. During design development I used an electronic crossover, and the passive does not come close to that quality of a tri-amped system. But it's not practical to bring a tri-amped system about... Suppose it is similar to a Fearful. Speaker cabs have been in development since 2005. Have gone through Peavey Black widows,Eminence Delta, Precision Devices, Deltalite 1, Deltalite II, and now Kappalite woofer. Mids have been Eminence 6s', closed back and now Alphalite. Tweeters: went through padded down Fostex, Dayton ribbons, Peerless 811647, now settled on Audax. This is the third version of the cab build.

End of tinkering for this rig.

Older pic of my rig. The UL-502 has been replaced with a UL-501, with a Carvin B2000 as a back-up for different rooms and situations. The cabs are 10 year old T-112's in excellent condition. They can spank most crowds with their punch...and take NO prisoners miked thru the mains. They're a great match to both heads :smug:
