Like Mikke in his OP, I've just recently bought for a pair of 112s, made in Sweden by TKS Engineering.

I think they're the first ones to reach UK shores:

Beautiful, eh?

They're compact, extremely light and tweeter-free, with ceramic drivers.

It's early days yet but I think they're the best cabs I've owned, and suit me better than the wonderful Bergantino 112s I've moved on from.

Unlike many here, I'm not in love with the old-school grill cloths and metal corners (I prefer metal grills & heavy-duty plastic stacking corners). But I do love the compact vertical form factor. A lot.

Hey Chef-

do you need to roll off the low lows, or HPF?

I have not checked out the MBF800 yet, but.. IME with the MB800:

the massive heavy loud huge bass it pushes would be killer with a dedicated sub, I'm guessing. Was it hard to tame on the gig?

I do roll of the bass a bit, but, I do with the other cabs I use as well.
Sometimes I run an fdeck hpfIII; depends on the room. It's "not required" though
