I've had this mentality for a long time as well. I'm pretty fortunate to have the gear that I have. Of course, being single, a non drinker/smoker and not having kids helps!
I definitely understand the "dream rig" thing. For a long time, the Tone Hammer 500 and two Aggie SL112's was my dream rig. Even I was surprised when I came home with the Bergs, but I this ended up being my dream rig. With my main board done (and no rush on my second) and being happy with my amp setups, it's nice to be relatively G.A.S. free!!

Anybody know of a 112 that can handle a low A (as in low B tuned with a Hipshot)? I would really like to get away from using my big rig....
One of the Greenboy fEarful 112 would definitely handle that in a serious way.
I'm not sure if I posted these here yet or not. My two DIY 1x12's, with Eminence S2012's, they are roughly the size of Fearful 12/6's (which are next on my list to build).

My stack was built by JHawk Customs. It sounds so great that you'd think it was made for my TH500.
I use a custom Verellen sealed 1x12 with an Eminence Delta Pro 12A, and a Sovtek Mig 50 along with a custom 1x12 cab from a local luthier loaded with an Eminence Delta 12LFC. It's a great pairing for sure.

Thats an awesome Hartke rig. I almost bought that same rig a while back, but decided against it. Can't remember why
I eyeballed those Hartkes pretty closely too, but went with Berg CN112s as they seemed to be more of what I needed to split the difference between the two bands I'm in... Funk covers and urban gospel. I really liked those Hartkes though, they sound great and look super cool.
Here's the most recent from my 2x112 rig, my gospel band played at New West Fest up in Ft. Collins a couple weekends ago. It's been working out really well and I love the way it sounds, but I suspect I'm going to cave in soon and pop for a Tonehammer 500...
lol My gospel band is playing this weekend at Taste of Colorado and my funk band is playing a gig the following weekend, so those will probably be the decision makers........5sg.
Looks like you use a class D amp. hows that working out for you. much lighter than my LH500. I'm always looking to lighten my load.
Yep, it's a Shuttle 6.0. It's a great clean modern sounding amp with plenty of power, and that rig is surprisingly loud. It's almost TOO clean/modern, though. I'm thinking the TH500 because it's got just a little bit more character to it. I'm planning on keeping the Shuttle as a backup though and having both will mean further flexibility with those cabs. Just gotta work the $$ into my budget!
Class D = Win because I can fit the amp in the front pocket of my gig bag. Gig bag, pedalboard bag and cabs on my fold-em-up rolling cart, and I'm a one-trip wonder!
