if i was being paid i might consider using more than one finger to type with.....oops,five dots....., long story short, it's not a term paper,and your approval/disapproval puts no food on the table.....i'f people want to use my use/misuse of ellipses as a justification for personal attacks(it's happened before,and i'm not insinuating that this is one of those occasions) no big deal.....

The truth is never vitriol. Hypocritical Christians - of course, "we" freely acknowledge we are fallen, broken and messed up. I'm thinking if you were a Christian we'd have fewer of these low-quality moments together.

again your understanding is off base.....without the "try to do better" component it rings hollow.....i would suggest that my positions are at least consistent with my lack of religion,unlike someone who attempts to bolster his ego at someone else's expense,while hiding behind a misguided belief that he is somehow more "christian" than others.....you should actually try reading that book.....

Here's the thing Jim - I have and am continuously working on myself. But dealing with people who I feel have contemptible attitudes and beliefs about large swatches of mankind, which is what I get from reading your posts here and elsewhere, are part of what I believe are "sin" or the messed up stuff in this world. My "Book" has many passages about confronting the evil we see: we are told that a man sharpens another like steel sharpens steel, we are told that sparing the rod spoils the child, there is suggestion that at times we may have to rebuke a idiot. Seems to me I am doing "ok".

The attempts of others and myself to point out your apparent ignorance in many things does nothing for our ego. E.g. Helping a special-needs child get a drink wouldn't make me feel smarter or better than them. The child would just not be thirsty.

unfortunately your method of "dealing" with those who you believe to be contemptible tends to take a sharp turn in the opposite direction to that of the guy that died on the cross.....you can call it what you like,or try to mealy mouth it all you want,but the word you really need to define it is hypocrisy....
