Here's the thing with saying you're ignoring - the other person never knows unless you slip up. Consider it wimpy if you want - I like ignoring someone for a day or two until I have peeled myself completely off the ceiling at MY speed so I don't type anything stupider than usual. Getting banned, even temporarily is not that much fun.

I honestly have no issue with Canada and Canadians. As far as separate countries...I consider it a bit of a public smokescreen. I figure our rich and the Canadian rich have been shacking up for a long time, the national borders and politics is like two divisions of the same company "appearing" to be competitors to create divisible issues in the mind of the 99%. Keeps us from thinking about the more important stuff.

I try not to be a grammar Nazi, but throw in some actual punctuation or a capitalized letter on occasion. The generous use of …… used to really bother me because it sometimes comes across as condescending, but I've decided you're just a huge Larry King fan and you are channeling him.

i think the point he is making is that if you want to volunteer to pay for it,fine,but all too often people want to feel good about themselves by volunteering other peoples time and resources....it's a fair point....is everyone that protests high taxes merely a contemptible greed head taking the food from a starving mouth,or simply concerned about the welfare of his own family?
