3 Wood Challenge: Solitare

The Solitare is done. Have made the pickup (sorry no pictures) and fitted it to the bass, the wiering is done but I have not grounded the string/bridge and have some hum... Have tried to connect a wire to the bridge to ground on the jack and most of it goes away. But when I touch the aluminium plate for the volum pot the hum gets louder. Any suggestions how to get rid of this?

Will post pictures later and maybe sound clips.

Have allso gotten the wood and most of the parts for the 2 string verson of the Solitare, the Dualist On one of the two I will be making I will try to use 2 Mustang pickups in stead of the P bass pickups. Will allso add a Pickguard. Will allso be making two fretted 1 stringers. All 4 new basses has been ordered by other people. This prototype have made me ready for making some for sale I learn from my mistakes. Will make another design for the single string tuner bridge.
