A few posts back two people commented about theirs. I received mine yesterday, I love it, no regrets selling my OC-2, TWA Great Divide, or my Iron Ether SubT.

Just plugged in my Octabvre and I'm pleased to report that it does what it is supposed to do. OC-2 is retired after 20+ years.

I think it has a bit more weight to have it compared to the OC-2. TWA seems like a different beast, but would you say that it nails the OC-2 vibe more than say the MXR?

I will admit that I don't have the space for the octave right now but keep looking at my board and trying to find a way.

I would love to get the octave...desperately trying to figure out how to fit it on my board but haven't quite figured it out yet.

My new loop switcher and Iron Ether Polytope should be here tomorrow, or Monday at the latest because of Thanksgiving. If there's room on my board, and I think there will be, an Octabver will be replacing my MXR BOD. I really love the BOD, but being in a hiphop band and having the ability to do 808 sounds via the second foot switch seems like a no brainer.

How's the tracking on the Octabver? I absolutely love the tracking on my Aguilar Octamizer but the video clips of the Octabver are killing me.

Well I finally had a run with the OCTAbVrE today at practice. Pretty awesome! I enjoyed the Sub button quite a bit. Having had the MXR Bod, this is a better, more versatile version. I'd say the tracking is just as good. (tracking down to the low A on the E string with no problem on my particular bass) Yeah, that sub switch is awesome. Oh wait, I already mentioned that.

Due to being fairly set in terms of audio and power cable lengths I had to put the octavbre 3rd in the chain Bass> Proton> YOU'RE DOOM> OCTAbVrE. It definitely wants to be first, as it glitched especially with the Fuzz before it. I will definitely be making that move. Overall, pretty much what I expected. Nice job Spence!

Does the sub have like a dub bass feel?

I think so. I feel like the Sub voice is a little quicker and focused than on the BOD. Plenty of lows but just more punchy.

I reworked the octave division circuit from the OC-2 to make it punchier. Still the same dubby tone but with less of that ultra-low end that kills speaker headroom and more of the good low end that shakes booties.
