3Leaf Audio Club - Episode 2

I think I qualify! These pedals are incredible.

Hi! Remember me?

I'm the guy who a couple of post ago implied that I don't reeeally want another Octaver.
Guess what: Seeing it was in stock at a german dealer started all those theories about me getting rid of my OC-2, curiosity about its interaction with the Doom and the Proton etc. etc.

I ordered it. Hrrrg.

So like all the people that thought a clean boost is not that useful but ended up buying a LBB :)

I will admit that I don't have the space for the octave right now but keep looking at my board and trying to find a way. :)

My new loop switcher and Iron Ether Polytope should be here tomorrow, or Monday at the latest because of Thanksgiving. If there's room on my board, and I think there will be, an Octabver will be replacing my MXR BOD. I really love the BOD, but being in a hiphop band and having the ability to do 808 sounds via the second foot switch seems like a no brainer.

Well I finally had a run with the OCTAbVrE today at practice. Pretty awesome! I enjoyed the Sub button quite a bit. Having had the MXR Bod, this is a better, more versatile version. I'd say the tracking is just as good. (tracking down to the low A on the E string with no problem on my particular bass) Yeah, that sub switch is awesome. Oh wait, I already mentioned that.

Due to being fairly set in terms of audio and power cable lengths I had to put the octavbre 3rd in the chain Bass> Proton> YOU'RE DOOM> OCTAbVrE. It definitely wants to be first, as it glitched especially with the Fuzz before it. I will definitely be making that move. Overall, pretty much what I expected. Nice job Spence!

Does the sub have like a dub bass feel?
