I'm sort of pretty sure that I'm done acquiring pedals for the year.
Sort of pretty sure. You mean you're definitely buying more. You still have 23 days!

Yes I also play a P with TI's and experience a difference on the D and G strings when using the sub size
Up high on the neck, the D and G sound great and play evenly
Down low on the neck on the D and G strings, the tracking is still right on but the tone and punch thins out.
To me, this is interesting, because it mirrors the actual response of the string itself. The notes noticeably cut more on the D and G when playing up higher, and sound completely different when playing down low on the neck on the D and G. So, my theory here is that the pedal tracks and responds INCREDIBLY well to touch, as well as to the actual sound and tone the string is making. Pretty cool.
HA! Yes I am also a bit crap with compression. Usually abandon it. I have exceptional pickups in my bass and only run like 5 pedals, i don't really need it. I trust my FOH to properly compress, I just don't use one, although I have seen Juan completely change the character of a pedal (sometimes in a really cool way!) by putting a comp in front of it. Useful if I knew how to use it, I suppose. I like the Octabvre's characteristic though, wouldn't necessarily want to take away from it.I keep going back and forth with compression in front of my OC-2. It might have something to do with me being useless at compression settings, though.
If you like synthy fuzz or synth sounds in general then a big Yup to da Doom.Since I have the Enabler, LBB, Wonderlove, and the Octabvre Do you think it's a wise decision to bring home the Doom?
Also, Anyone here use the One-Control loopers before? I'm interested in the White or the Black.
