The Deluxe looks so nice!

So far Im really liking this filter, the easiest one Ive had so far to dial in that sound. Havent tried the expression pedal yet but soon.

That was my first reaction. I used @j@zz_b@ss 's starting point (linked to it in the other thread for you) and, I was able to just dial whatever sounds I was looking for. It is SO easy to use. And, WOW, it is so FAT.

Honestly, I could have kept the non deluxe, I would have saved money : But, there was a sale, and I did an interesting trade on my v1 one. SO, it all worked out.

Looking forward to trying it out with a band tomorrow. Any settings that you guys really like.... please share!

ohhhh and by the way ..... its a horrible pedal ..... every setting sounds great ..... impossible to find a sweat spot and just leave it there , i'm always messing around with the knobs ... it's always different but equally cool ....

i want these patch cables !!!!!!!!

Hosa pancakes

Yup Hosa pancakes. Helps with space saving on the board for sure.

I gotta say the Bandpass mode on the Wonderlove is my favorite so far.
I can finally get the DOD FX25 type sound I love, but with ease, and not all the high maintenance issues that the FX25 requires.
Thanks Spencer:thumbsup:

Hi all,

Just got the new Proton. So far so good. Sounds really nice, but haven't used it in band context yet.

The next step is to pair it with a fuzz. I will most likely run the fuzz before the Proton. I've got my eyes (and ears) on the Earthquaker Devices Hoof. Sounds good, but haven't tried them together yet. I'm also interested to test the Cloven Hoof.

What other options should I consider? I guess the You're Doom is a good match. Cannot try that one before I buy though. What else similar to consider is there?

Cheers,
Kalle

Found this clip with the Doom and Proton (previous version).

Seems like a great match. I realized that the possibility to mix in your dry signal, as well as control the level of the fuzz signal, might be winner when combining with an envelope filter. To get back some of the dynamics, making the envelope filter respond better. Hmm, maybe it will be a second 3Leaf pedal in a really short while...
