Reverb prices are so odd. I mean that Octabvre is double what it should be. The Groove Regulator has been up for weeks, too.
Does anybody has some news from 3 Leaf / Spencer ? The website still indicates news from April... Thx

Best recommendations for a expression pedal on the Chromatron? I understand Spencer mentioned the Dunlop 3, but its been some time since then, and I understand the sweep can be pretty narrow. I didn't know if something like a Reflex or something similar would be better because of the adjustments that can be made, to maybe suite the Chromatron better. I have a volume pedal running a 250kohm EBMM volume TRS>TS(2) right now, but the filter cut off is so narrow, basically wanting to widen that parameter so its not so on/off. I would email him but, well you know.. TIA
I haven’t used it with the Chromatron, but the Moog EP-3 has been the most usable expression pedal I’ve found. It’s just big.
There's another thread going on about it. Pretty much nobody knows for sure. Website and email still not working. Facebook has been dormant for almost a year and a half.
I have the DVP4 which is basically the same as the DVP3. Expression had a very narrow sweep, so what I did is opened the pedal and flipped the "tip/ring" switch. Then, smooth action on the filter. I have no idea why it does this, because it's supposed to reverse the heel/toe down values. IIRC the pedal works correctly when plugged in to my synth, i.e. the tip/ring switch does what it's supposed to. I think it's a wiring mismatch between the TRS jack in the volume vs the jack in the Chroma.

Currently the Chroma, Doom, and MKIII are on my main board. I may put together a smaller board with the Mini and Proton, though if i'm being honest I've thought about cutting one or both for redundancy reasons...

For those of you with the big box filters: what's in your loop? I've got a v1 Wonderlove with the classic Octabvre Mini and Doom combo, but also running an MBD2 last in the loop. I tried it in every conceivable position and this has been best. I've got a Utility Knife on the way and my first two spots to try will be after the Wonderlove and after the MBD2 in the loop.
This filter is so good and the MBD2 in the loop gives it just a hint of grind that it was missing before.

I'm pushing quite alot in my Chromatron loop, basically the loop starts and then goes to my Octabvre>FFXloop1>both dirt pedals (Locust and Azure) then leaves the loop1 to the Doom 2>FFXloop2>both fuzz pedals(Maestro and Sunder) then returns back to the Chromatron return.
I'm taking full advantage of the genius that is Spencer's loop design, I love it. All 3leaf on at once is perfect, like they were made to run together. Everything else above that is after the filter
I run everything that isn't always on in my Chromatron loop. Right now, that's an Okto-Nojs, Synesthesia, and Black Vehicle (with the Black Vehicle also in the loop of the Synesthesia). To be honest, half the time I don't even use the filter on the Chromatron....but if I've got a synth patch that has my Okto going into the Black Vehicle, then a choppy tremolo on the Synesthesia, for instance.....I just set the Chromatron with the loop switch down, expression control with the expression pedal all the way up, and the resonance all the way down. Basically allows me to have one pedal stomp to turn on 3 other effects - without the Chromatron actually applying any filter.
Of course, it also works great when I want to apply the filter to any/all of those effects. Since there's still the ability to flip the loop switch up and use anything on its own in the loop, I really haven't found a reason not to put everything in there that isn't part of my base tone. And if I'm just running completely clean, flipping the switch down takes all of the unnecessary extra stuff out of the signal chain - less chance for noise, crappy bypasses, etc.
Forgive my lack of computer terminology... I don't know what that means... but, the site doesn't pull up when I try to access from my phone... but from a computer, it works just like the link you provided..???
Cache is a type of memory. Sometimes you can view a page where your computer pulls from a stored cache version rather than downloading the latest version from the site's server. Depending on your OS you can clear your cache or possibly even the cache for a specific URL. When you go to the page the next time there's no cache to pull from so it forces your system to download the latest version from the server.
