3Leaf Audio Club - Episode 2

Hey everyone, quick question about the Enabler….Is the headphone output always activated and subject to the EQ, regardless of whether the footswitch/LED is on or not? As in, does the footswitch only control the line out and XLR out? Is there no way to bypass the EQ when listening through headphones?

Picked one up and just wanted to check that everything is functioning as intended.

Yep, you can't bypass the EQ.

It's mainly because of that and the power draw that I went with a Messenger after having the Enabler for a couple of years. But the Enabler is an amazing transparent DI in its own right.

I like the EQ bypass option on the Messenger plus the filters, it's very versatile....but there's something about the quality of the headphone amp on the Enabler which is addictive.

I also sent him an email in September and nothing. I asked three or four dealers about availability, all of whom said something along the lines of "Don't hold your breath"/"We've not heard from him in over a year." :rollno:

I want to believe you :) But his update of September pushed me to claim for a new enclosure ! :-D

Some of the Octabvre / DOOM 2 pedals from the last production run had issues with the silkscreen graphics. If you have an affected unit and you’d like a replacement enclosure, email me.

That's the thing, though. I understand prioritizing health over business and I understand going AWOL without notice because of mental health issues. But I wish he'd taken the time while he was doing better to contact dealers and make plans with regards to customer service in case his health took another toll. As it sits, dealers and customers haven't heard anything from him in two months...
