So any word on Spencer? Last update was early September. Hope the fella is doing alright.

I think this would actually not really do anything, because it's essentially the just same as if I ran the Doom 2 in front of the Chroma with no blender and just... used the mix knob built into the Chroma.

But it also doesn't agree with the point of the fx loop, which is to keep from having to run dynamics-destroying effects in front of the envelope follower.

(Unrelated side note: I think blenders are a cool utility, but I think the popularity of them has possibly made it harder to get stuff like low passed clean blends on bass fuzzes. Because I ask people if they know of any pedals with that feature, and the answer is "just use a blender pedal". Like... cool, that's great, but sometimes I want the features in one box instead of two boxes.)

If you have a bass plugged into the return on the FX loop, and another source plugged into the actual input of the CT, without anything physically plugged into the send on the FX loop, the signal from the CT input will not sum with the input running into the FX return, it will though trigger the envelope. That's why he (spencer) mentions using different envelope triggers into the CT input and running your bass straight into the FX return. I already have it on my expression pedal but I always thought something like LFO into the CT input in this manner could be a neat auto wah, if adjustable enough. I'm not sure, and curious, to how the blend works in this situation though, in theory it wouldnt have but the FX return on one side and nothing on the other. But I've always wanted to try this, as he went through the trouble of inserting it into the manual for a reason

Each pedal is worth 275~300 depending on how much screen print is remaining honestly, they're very good pedals, I use my mk3 everyday, but they're simply not worth any more than that.

I wish Spencer would say something, anything.. shut all this non sense down, I sold my D2 in hopes that maybe he would make more.

I'm tempted to just buy a knob to see what happens lol

I sold the Doom2 to go towards a new head after selling my old Markbass. Ended up using some luck to grab a Calamity and think I'm happy on the fuzz front. MKIII is staying for now though.
