Just got my Enabler (#109) :hyper:

Unfortunately I'm at work...fortunately, I also have my Cioks Big John with me :p

The headphone amp sounds great! Even with crappy Youtube audio. I'm not sure I would say that it polishes the sound, but it does bring back some of the lost punch and lows to the sound.

Can't wait to get back home and try the pre with my bass :bassist:

With the shape switch down and maybe a compressor before it, you should be able to nail that sound.

Volume control only affects the fuzz signal, but the clean blend has a 6db boost which means that it's unity gain when the blend knob is in the middle.

I can't make it any smaller and still have an XLR jack. I could stick a nice EQ in a Proton-sized box but if you wanted a balanced output it would have to be a 1/4" TRS output.

Would you guys find a TRS balanced output useful at all?

DAMN!!!! So Musical sounding.

There are some fuzz pedals out there that just cause crazy sonic destruction (which is not a bad thing), but that demo was SICK. So, so inspiring and pardon my use of this word describing a fuzz pedal, but PLEASANT sounding to my aural receptors.

I will have one and make sweet passionate fuzz tones.

A balanced TRS is always useful, and I'm sure an Enabler Light would sell decently. You could call it The Persuader. Sorry, couldn't help the pun.

The Enabler gain/volume levels in the picture are actually not true to life...they must have shifted in the case when I unpacked my board from the weekend. And the El Oso is in fact set at a screamingly high gain - it's blended with my clean signal which gives a nice biamp sound in retaining the fullness on the bottom.
