I swear you can hear the classifieds change. Do you have a Minority Report-style set-up? If so, please could you let me know if you see any COG pedals?

This is what I mean about some lights being better. The Proton looks a bit rough here but the others are clearer.

In retrospect, yes, a much better idea. However, with nail polish in hand…

The Proton looks fine from other angles too and, crucially, they all sound great.

I definitely don't need another octave pedal but I really wish I had ordered an Octabvre to go with the Doom2... at the time I figured the SV, SVD, Octron 3, and Digitech Bass Whammy were sufficient, but now I need a ghost pair, which will probably turn into a trio when the Proton comes.... I need to find a new place to hang out.

Haven’t been here for ages. Stupidly sold my Wonderlove and Proton a couple of years ago and highly regret selling them. If anyone has Proton or Wonderlove for sale now I’d be happy to buy. Thanks.

So much toanz with the mkiii, somehow it sounds better than the mini which I didn’t think was possible

Got my shipping notification for a high gain Doom 2. Looking forward to comparing it to my OG Doom 2!

Glad I stuck with my instincts and the low gain version. One of the few "fuzz" pedals I've ever actually liked and killer with other effects for synthy goodness.

Expensive? Yes. But... Happy I was able to snag one, and hindsight 20/20 on getting rid of the Doom 1 I guess.

It's been a few years since I had the D1, but I do feel like I already like the D2 even better. I seem to remember D1 being a bit more wooly sounding... The best term I can think of is that the D2 is "a little less flabby" maybe? The new one seems a little more focused, and the added controls (particularly the EQ) make it a little easier to get a wider variety of sounds out of it compared to the first one I think.

Guys, sorry for maybe a dumb question but does Octabvre mk1 (the very first big white one) differs in tone dramatically compared to Octabvre mini or the newest smaller one? I have my original big white one with Tim mod and thinking of trading it for a smaller version to downsize my pedalboard. Thanks

The mkiii sounds different, has a wider tonal range but the mkii & mini are going to sound similar to your mki with TIM tuning mod.

There are people in both camps as far as which sounds better. I prefer the mkii when its just me practicing & like the space between foot switches BUT I think the mkiii sounds better in a mix

The vol/vol setup present on the MKIII is also a lot easier, IMO, than the vol/blend on the older models. I owned a Mini and a MKII before getting my MKIII, and I think I might have preferred the MKII a little in terms of tone, but the MKIII's space savings and the usability of tweaking the volumes more intuitively is very helpful.

The shorter space between the footswitches can be negated mostly via practice, good placement, and putting a Barefoot Button on one or both of the switches can improve the situation too.

I see Mu Tron isn't the only pedal with this issue..
