@Matt Dean if you're looking for a funky filter that's easy to dial in, let me suggest the Joshwah. I got one in a trade last week and between it and my Meatball clone, I felt comfortable letting my Chromatron go. It's readily available at $170. And this from a guy who loves 3Leaf Filters.
The Joshwah is really nice. If it had a downsweep it would close to perfect. I just got a Proton v4, and it sounds great but I’m thinking of passing it on and just keeping the Joshwah.
Nice collection! Do you have a favorite or feel that any one of these is superior to the others?
Having owned the Proton, and currently owning a Chromatron and Joshwah, I find they coexist. The Joshwah lacks the versatility of the Chromatron, but with the controls it does have, getting a good sound is very immediate. I like it for my small board oriented towards funkier music, especially because the built-in drive control saves me having to place a dirt pedal both in front of and after the filter.
The Chromatron, for me, is good for really filter- heavy stuff where being able to adjust the direction, the attack, etc are necessary, or if I want to have manual control. The fx loop also really sets it apart.
The Proton V4 was good, I had it before I got in on a Chroma batch, but I found that it essentially sounds the same as the Chroma and I couldn't really justify keeping both.

What are your findings?
They each have their individual charm. The GR2 & Wonderlove both color the sound of your instrument whereas the Chromatron is more transparent & stays fairly true to your tone.
The GR2 is a streamlined Lovetone Meatball variant, it's thick & juicy, has a nice pop at the front end of the envelope & is probably the most classically funky of the three.
The Wonderlove is really bubbly with a warbling or percolating quality if you crank the resonance & is the most sensitive in my experience but if you dial it in right & add some dirt in the fx loop it can nail the starved Mu-Tron III Sir Psycho Sexy tone which makes sense given it was inspired by the Mu-Tron.
The Chromatron is the most versatile, polished & dynamic of the lot & probably my favorite, the way I have it dailed in gives me a greasy auto-wah sound. I do wish I could adjust the frequency range to make it lower though... the low setting sounds like the high on the GR2.
Theyre all great... can't really go wrong with any of them.

I would like a wonderlove somewhere down the road to swap out (back and forth) with my chrome, someone needs to make a new envelope, not too many new ones out there..
That’s exactly how I use my Joshwah (and what I use it for in my RHCP tribute band). To me it nails it thanks to the drive control. It’s pretty much my go to envelope tone now, always a bit dirty sounding. Playing Sir Psycho Sexy live and loud with it is the only thing that brings me pleasure in life now (ok I might be exaggerating here).

There are two from Europe that interest me: the Triungulo Barbanera, which at 300 Euro and the exchange rate near 1-1 seems like a great buy if you don't mind a lengthy preorder; and the FTelettronica Meatball copy, which is available on reverb for stupid low prices: FTelettronica Envelope Follower/Triggered Filter (Lovetone Meatball) 2022 Blue | Reverb
If I didn't have the Chromatron I would jump all over the FTelettronica pedal. It lacks the effects loop toggle of the Chromatron but adds a couple different features as well. I'm still debating on grabbing one, although it is a bit large.
Curious if anyone has any input on comparison between a Proton V2 and V4... Would the differences be enough to justify trying to snag a V4 when Spencer gets the next batch going?
