There was one on Reverb last week in Australia for about $700 and there was one in Greece earlier in the year for a little more, so it may be worth making your searches international if you’ve not already and don’t mind the wait/customs fees.

I’ve not used a Wonderlove before. What’s the consensus on them compared to Spencer’s other designs?

I think the Chromatron has the best feature set of any filter, full stop. I liked the sound of the Wonderlove v1 better. I've moved on from both.

Interesting. What to? I’ve used a few filters and I’m currently favouring the Barbanera but always happy to hear about what works for others.

I like to think of the Chromatron as a sterile "transparent" envelope pedal, it's not gritty, and tone enhancing, but the range of adjustability is amazing and if you need any enhancements, just add them to the fx loop. The way it mixes the two is the best feature imho. I look at more as a tool rather than a pedal with a personality
