3Leaf Audio Club - Episode 2

I found a chromatron at reverb, but the backplate looks funny, like plastic.
Are all chromatrons like this? Or backplate were replaced with something else?

Great news thanks !

Regarding ordering a pedal, should I expect to place my order within the first 5 minutes after they're up for sale, or is there a margin like a few days before they sell out ?
Yes, and yes. He's been so delayed/new dates ever so often, who knows. 2 years ago, the sales would drop and everything would be up for a mater of minutes, if that. Over time though, it's hard to tell if people are still excited about the brand. Be prepared for anything, all I can say. (This is in reference to the pedals, not preamps)

I think pedal enthusiasts have caught on to 3leaf by now, likely because of their value on the secondary market. The drop just before the Ghost release, had Protons up for several days (I eventually caved and got one); the entire Ghost release was gone in under 10 minutes (Dooms were the first to go). I’m expecting bedlam this next drop :blackeye: Hoping for a Doom…we’ll see.

The problem is how to make sure you get on the website just when they are released ?
He said that he will send an email update… Typically he gives you a day and a time that the sales go live. I feel like recently they have not been instant sell outs, but they do go quick. If you really want something I would definitely be prepared to purchase right away. Hard to say how long things will last…

Nice thing, thank you.
I am fine purchasing things right away.Given the demand, if I eventually don't like it, I am confident I could sell it..

I have no Octaver and no fuzz on my pedalboard so I need them both. I have an envelope (Spectrum) but I am curious about the Proton ..

Let's see.
