As said by @warptheory, it feels like we enter a new era of 3 Leaf Audio with all these recent drops and amazing colors.

The trinity gets pretty regular drops now and scalpers are at a minimum. 3 Leaf with the help of Ian Martin Allison and others are getting more and more popular, so along with increased drops is more demand, but it feels like we are in a happy place now.

I am strongly opposed to a new thread.

In the early days of TalkBass I believe new threads were necessary because the software could only handle a certain number of posts or pages; but for many years now the forum software TalkBass has used has permitted threads with thousands and thousands of pages. A single thread is easily searchable, indexing and preserving all information in one page. In this particular case, it collates over twelve years of data. Starting a new thread doesn't erase that, but it does unnecessarily introduce a discontinuity and make searching far less convenient.

Several folks have mentioned wanting to move on from past drama. You don't need a new thread to do that: you need evolving attitudes among the community, and, for that, you need the brand itself to not get up to shenanigans. Also no one actually relitigated any past drama; acknowledging history is not the same thing as reliving it. For my part, I directed another user to do their research if they were so interested, but I did not revisit any of the details. Nor did anyone else. (What would be the point? We have no new information to inform such conversations.) But, even if I or someone else had, that to me is not reason to start of new thread. This is the place to talk about 3 Leaf Audio, positive and negative.

Also, it is presumptive for one user—I am truly sorry to call you out like this, @Romain909, but I don't know how to make this point without doing so—to make this decision for an entire community, especially when they are not the user—@fivestringgecko, who is still active in this community—who created this "club" in the first place. At the very least I feel like there should be a poll with community input so this isn't a unilateral decision.

Oh yes, we disagree I don't think there was anything "unnecessary" about discussing the bundled preamps and discovery pricing. Yes, one or two folks here went too far and were rightly moderated, but I firmly believe such business practices necessitated a conversation.

I'm indifferent to a new thread. I agree there used to be a technical reason, but not so much anymore.

Keeping it all in a single thread is nice for searching.

But yes, even if I was one doing some (most? all?) poking I thought I was following etiquette. I was actually trying to insinuate the drama was more blown up than it was being made seem and discussing openly is in support of such notions.

I hope my Can’t Hardly Wait quote here isnt lost on all. It’s a funny moment when he drops this line.
