Was playing my Wonderlove and first gen Proton and noticed quite the difference between the two. The Wonderlove seemed more transparent, complex or maybe 3D and the Proton seemed darker and less complex.

I have the second. Adjusting the decay makes it a little more sweet. Not saying you can't get more out of the wonderlove but it does give me what I need and it is a bit more complex.

I was finally able to record/play extensively with my new "the enabler" and it is completely what I needed. Perfect preamp for what I do! I am very pleased I would consider this to be the best out right now in terms of sound, quality, build.

So here is my board equipped with a Groove Regulator v1. You can't see it in the pic but its signed by Victor Wooten on the side!! Just aquired it about a week ago and it produces the funk that I've been looking for!! Can I get a number please??
