OC-2 very much walking the plank now, after seeing that Instagram clip!!!
Up to now, I've been faking Moog bass with the OC-2 and some warm overdrive, somewhat close, but not quite... especially realized this after hearing Mike League's "fake-Moog" tone on Snarky Puppy's stuff.
Hopefully this new pedal gets me closer!!?
I see the two octaves and switches. Is this analogous to "Girth" and "Growl" in the MXR BOD?
(p.s. if anyone has insight on how League does fake-Moog, please advise! I know he uses the EHX POG for his octave-up solos but not clear how he gets that synth sound)

If you palm mute with a You're Doom, you can cop a way better Moog sound than any octaver. But my octaver will still help 
Spencer, damn does that sound incredible! I'm really liking the proton I just got and have been using the wonderlove for a while. Great stuff you have going and cannot wait for this octave pedal to come out!

I've already been working the Doom (w/ the OC-2, Proton, and palm mute) to cop the buzzed-out synth sound (in Funkin for Jamaica, e.g.), and still exploring all its tonal possibilities. Reference to League's synth tone was along the lines of this example, starting around 11:00 (sounds like octaves, with a hint of warmth/drive?):
@Thunderbird, I know he also doubles on keys, but he gets this synthy tone on bass. EDIT: discussed offline with T-Bird, and we're thinking it's an octaver... Can't wait for the 3Leaf model!!!

Pretty much what I'm thinking as well. I've bought and sold two OC-2's now, just never jived with it because of tracking. I'm sure Spencer's will be MUCH better.

I've really been thinking lately that I need to replace my Dark Driving, and this right here has me right on the edge of pulling the trigger on a You're Doom. Just want to see what you're going to be stuffing into those rusty cases first.
