3Leaf Audio Octabvre MK III

I’m hoping that now that were seeing some of these MKIIIs pop-up at dealers, the next thing will see is the Doom2 pre-order go live :)
I have had a Doom 2 on pre-order for months from the same dealer that had the Mk. IIIs today, and he said Spencer told him the order was Protons, Octabvres, and then Doom 2s. So, hopefully that's correct.

I thought I had one ordered but Rogue Guitar Shop apparently oversold(on 12-9), but didn't tell me till yesterday (12-14), so I missed out on the ones that Pitbull/Musicstorelive had listed as well. They also charged me so I get to watch my bank account for the refund that still hasn't posted...

Just a waste of time/pain in the butt.

Oh… Yeah that blows.

Yeah, I'd be wary about buying stuff from companies that don't have it in stock and ready to ship and I'd suggest verifying before putting payment down. I've been tricked by pre-orders in the past and in my experience your money stays tied up as a pre-order while stock gets distributed to other retailers or direct customers and then it is difficult to get out of the pre-order and get a refund. Also, in current times, who knows what businesses are actually doing well vs on the brink of closing and once closed, then you just lose.

How have users of the MKIII been liking the spacing between the bypass and sub footswitches. I just spoke with Chad at The Bass Shop and told him that when he gets more MKIIIs in stock that I'd buy one (I need to make some room on my board and this would help), but the more I look at those footswitches the more nervous I get. Any thoughts from those of you with an MKIII underfoot?

The spacing really isn’t an issue for me. I also have a Mark II and as I posted a ways back in this thread, it allows me to easily hit both switches when I want. It’s kind of useful and not possible with the II. Using the switches separately is not a problem though. I got used to it quickly.
