3Leaf Audio Octabvre MK III

So, I'm new on this thread. Does anybody know what the deal is with the super quiet response from 3Leaf re: the MkIII? I was a dummy and missed out on the preorders because I couldn't decide. I figure, "whatever, I'll see them thru dealers on Reverb in October." Nope, not even close. The only dealers I've seen selling it are smaller ones that I only find thru Google. I'm really looking forward to having one, but I'm not paying the ridiculous prices I've seen...

I have no answers. But it does seem, to me at least, that Spencer has been focusing increasingly on only producing the amount of product that he can manage without stress.

I’ve seen a few here go at fair prices . Maybe call all of the dealers on his stock list link ?

What’s a good alternative e to this that is also analog?
That you can actually buy easily?

An octave is my main missing pedal. I had my eye on Octabvre but lacked funds at the time.

Most likely one I would buy is MXR Vintage Bass Octave.

Broughton Synth Voice (Deluxe) looks great as well but even though the dev said it will be available again soon (in the thread on TB), no sign of it on his site.

I wrote to Markbass with a question about their newish mini analogue octave but they haven't replied so far so it's looking like I won't be going with them.

Cog Effects T-16. It's got clean volume, oct volume, and filter, and it's a nano-pedal size. They also have the T-47, T-65, and T-70, which add features like A/B modes, effects loops, Sub switch etc (or all of the above, for the T-70). I'd probably get one of them if I didn't have the 3Leaf/weren't holding out for the MkIII, but the downside is that they're hard to find and thus expensive. T-16 on Reverb is going for $250 right now. Not sure what the deal with the manufacturer is/if they will be back in stock.

Anyone who has their MK III: are the footswitches silent/relay or click type? Just sold off my OC-3 and in the market for a solid octaver. Had my eye on an Octabvre for a while and that small footprint is just the ticket...whenever they're back in stock. Although I'm on a crusade to swap all my pedals for silent click, so...not sure if that would be a deal breaker or not.

My MKI as well as all of my other 3Leaf pedals (past and present) have all used a silent footswitch. I can't speak to the MKIII, but I'd be shocked if Spencer used anything but a silent switch.
