$40 EBS FuzzMo...GET ONE!

Hmmm.... someone said this thing can do low gain overdriven sounds.... uh no. Can’t believe I went for it. At lowest gain setting, passive p bass, it’s making chain saw noises. Oh well. Seems like a decent fuzz if I should need one of those.

Mine's not like that. I get a smooth fade in of the fuzz effect as I turn the gain up. Does your gain knob have any effect at all? If not, maybe its broken.

I'm actually wondering if the blend knob is broken on mine, as it doesn't seem to do anything when I turn it.

EDIT: I just went and worked the blend knob back and forth a few times and oddly now it seems to be having an effect. Not sure why it didn't work before.

The gain does have an effect on mine, but it goes from distortion to fuzz.... no OD. Bypass is weird, output is very low. Not true bypass. I disliked the unit so much that I only played with it for about 5 minutes. Yeah might be a bad unit.

Yep. Use mine exclusively for low gain with zero fuzz. You have to turn down the gain and shape.

The 'blend' is not a standard blend between the pedal and your clean tone. I forget what it does exactly, but it's not that. I think it blends the 'shape' and the 'gain' or something like that.

Blend knob is literally just the volume of the clean signal. Volume knob is volume of the dirt signal. Two separate volumes instead of one blend pot, but they chose to name them badly.

I finally got to play w the fuzz mo and with the gain and shape turned down, I finally coerced some tasty overdriven tones, which is why I bought one. It sounds great, especially with the shape set at noon or before. Also the blend/ volume dials seem counter intuitive on mine but yes! One is dry and one is wet, and this high gain monster instantly is transformed into a smooth OD machine. Thanks mmbongo!!
