Thanks for all the input. I picked up the VT Deluxe and it is amazing! I also got a Pickle Pie B but it just got delivered 5 min ago. About to try it. But after playing with the VT, I am not sure how much other fuzz I need. Now I really want a wah and a compressor or limiter... I've opened Pandora's box!! Thanks agin for the help though

Oh man you ain't lyin about Pandora's box!! Haha GAS!!! I love my VT too but I'm not sure just how much use it will get once I get my B7K later this week :hyper:

Gregmon79... very well thanks. The VT rocks. The Pickle Pie is over the top but a lot of fun. I have held off from new purchases for now but I would still like to go with a full board. However, the soul band I play with now has no need for effects. I am also playing with a 90's cover band that may use a bit but not much. I am hoping to use the effects more! Because I love 'em! Thanks for asking!:bassist:

A VT Bass would be good but for other stuff like chorus, compression, delay, fuzz, etc I would recommend a good used cheap multi effect. That way you can play around with basically all effects then decide which ones you like.

Example.... I have a bass wah and I never use it. Waste of $$$ for me but you might dig one.

To each their own in any case....
