Took me about 3-4 seconds to shut it down. Thank you very much.

It's got its place. Not my thing, but it sounds rad without the fuzz effect later in the video. Not too into signature models, but I like that Rick has been thinking out of the box with this and their new 5 string model. I'm sure it'll be a neat collector's item in 10 years.

I bought one yesterday. Its totally cool! Yeah...its different. The green pearl inlays arent bad, but I hated the oven knobs at first and figured I'd change them, but I dig it with them now.
I like the pickup setup too. Its different enough from my regular 4003, still sounds very much like a Ricky.

Sticker price amongst all the dealers is $3399.

The bridge is noteworthy. The neck joint will be strong without a pickup rout anywhere near it. The pickup placement is reminiscent of the 4002, although the style pickup differs. Retro knobs, clear rest and green inlays are an odd combo, but in for a penny in for a pound, I guess. Glad to see new models being introduced. I don't know enough about the artist to comment on his having a signature model.

I'm all for Ric trying new innovations, but c'mon...a special run of 420 pot-themed basses?

Grandmas named Gertrude and Phyllis are in shambles... first Rickenbacker endorses the Beatles and their wild hair... now they openly endorse the devil’s lettuce? Yes, they had their stint with the jazz cabbage in ‘65, but they’ve grown a lot since.

Joke’s aside it is a strange move for them, lol.
