I second, but you can keep the tweeter. My Bag Q is flippitybippin loud! And sounds good too!

Can I change my vote to Bergantino HT310?

Yes, I know it's a 3x10 instead of 4x10 (so all the real 4x10s should have an advantage...NOT!).
Sounds better than any 4x10 I ever heard. [Unfortunately, it's also (at least temporarily) discontinued.]

2nd choice is now BE Q10BX-D.
3rd is Epifani T410.
4th is Agie GS410.

The GK 410RBH will be on the backline for the 2003 Vans Warped Tour, Ozfest, Spirit West Coast, and several other festivals this summer.

Hardcore bands who us the GK cabs include
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Spike 1000
ETown Concrete
Sworn Enemy
Pillar

The list of converts is growing fast.

The GK 410RBH Rocks!!!!I'm doing a cover gig on the side right now and have to play stuff from Sevendust and Godsmack. The RBH 410 handles all of the low B stuff quite well. The high gain channel on my 2001RB works good for that stuff also.

EBS! My opinion may be based upon the fact that I am absolutely in love with the EBS tone and the clarity of the sound, although if you have a cheap bass I don't know if you want to torture it with such clear sounding gear ;)

Mesa Boogie. Best 4x10 I've ever played.

Agreed, assuming that we are talking about the Diesel and Road Ready series. They are heavy as can be, but incredible tone and clarity across the frequency range.

I would still like to hear an Epifani T-410UL, though. :D

Tom.

A vote for the Ampeg BXT410HL. They're quite heavy but they sound great. I use 2 of them with my SWR I.O.D. preamp and QSC PLX2402.

I've also owned SWR's Goliath Sr, Goliath III, an Eden D410XLT, and an Ampeg 810E over the years-they're all excellent cabinets.

That is a good idea.I wish I could have done that. I traded all my Hartke stuff for Ampeg, but it was worth it.:bassist:

Ditto the above with knobs on! EBS is the finest sounding equipment I have ever used or heard & I've tried 'em all over 30 years of playing!

I played a 4ohm epi 410 yesterday, and all i can say is..

WHOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!

The response was so tight, that it had me drooling and begging for more. I ab'd it against the eden 410, and although the eden would make an excellent prog-metal/rock cab, the epi absolutely owned it in the jazz/funk department.

Im going to order the epi 212 in a week or two, the 410's are just a tad too heavy for my likings. BRILLIANT sounding though ...Whoa!!
