You are right. He has an assortment of fretted and fretless 4's and 6's (CT and 1 or 2 fender J-Basses).

OK I've never seen anyone mention wayman tisdale he's a GREAT jazz and soloing bass player (with a beautiful tone too) he also has the 5 string under his belt. I've seen him live with a five.
