5 string Fretless 36" scale Padouk-Pau Ferro-Ebony-Silver Oak CT inspired

REALLY a beautiful looking bass.

The next one should have your own headstock design. No need to use a CT style headstock (I say this as a compliment). Also, I am not a fan of Gibson knobs but these look fine on this bass (not a fan of wooden knobs either).

All in all... wonderful looking instrument. I hope you post your next build, thanks.

Love your bass! Beautiful work. What was the final completed weight?

Just FYI, Carl used Gibson knobs on my 2008 No Frills:

Thanks to everybody!
This bass would not have been built without TalkBass!

The next one should have your own headstock design..

I'm working on a new design, but it's not so easy, i would like to use 2+2 (or 3+2..) design, for TR accessibility, and i would like to use my "Thompsonish" logo too. But if you look the back of this headstock you can see it's different from a CT, it's more curved and rounded.

What was the final completed weight?

I have to check....

...Carl used Gibson knobs...

I used those knobs cause of this!

Gibson knobs: love them, or hate them!
I like how the looks on dark wood, probably they should look better in a 2+2 configuration, but i had to place in this way to have space for the batteries.

Thank again! I LOVE this forum! All of you are a great source of inspiration!
